    17

    • Are you staff on any other servers?:
No, I recently quit a server called Prison4eva due to the way they treated me.

    • Do you have access to Discord and a working microphone? If you have discord, please list your full discord name and tag. Example; Example#1234:

I do have access to discord and my username is Parrr#2714. I also have access to a working microphone.

    • Do you have the ability to record Minecraft videos?:

Yes, I use OBS to record.

    • Do you have a donator rank on any of our game modes?:
    No I don't.

    2) Elaborate

    2) Where are you most active on the Universe Server?:

    Jupiter (Faction).

    3) How much time do you have to contribute to the role?:

Monday I am online from times 4 pm to 1 am
Tuesdays I am online from times 1 pm to 1 am
Wednesdays I am online from times 11:30 am to 1 am
Thursdays I am online from times 1 pm to 1 am
Fridays I am online from times 4 pm to 2 am

During school times, I am on discord pretty much all the time because I have it on my phone. However, during weekends I am on my PC all the time either coding some things to improve my coding knowledge or I’m studying. (Or procrastinating by playing games :p)

    4) Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, please include details (if applicable):
I have never been punished on any server since 2011 (when I started playing minecraft)

    5) SCENARIO: Suppose it's your first week of being a Helper and you mute a well-known player. They're arguing and spamming you, constantly telling you to unmute them. What would you do?:

Depends on what they are saying. If they are saying that it was a misunderstanding then I would go back and look into it and unmute if it was a misunderstanding. However if it was not a mistake then I would tell them what they did wrong. If they spam me with rude/harassing things then I would just ignore them

    6) Tell us about a time you made a mistake within the last year? How did you deal with it? What did you learn?:

Last year I made a joke to my friend but they took it too seriously therefore I explained to them how I was just joking. I did learn my lesson and that was that some people take everything seriously and I must be careful with who I joke with.

    7) Do you have any previous server moderation or leadership experience? If not, please explain how you could do as staff even without having any previous experiences. (Minimum 200+ words):

I’ve been Trial-Mod on MinerMC, a cracked server with 100+ players. I was Developer for about a month and Trial-Mod for a week before I moved to a different factions server (InsurgentMC).
On the InsurgentMC server specifically, I dealt with:

    • Racism

      - People threw the N-word around and not just in a "relaxed" context. These players were muted for one hour.

    • Spamming

      - Some members of the server spammed to advertise their auction in the AH or something along these lines. The punishment varied from a warning to AH spammers to a ban to advertisement spammers (servers, websites, YouTube/Twitch channels)

    • Advertising

      - Alts were used to advertise other faction servers in the form of a repeated, phishing message with a server IP, designed to either steal players from the server or steal account info from the players. These alts were IP-banned.

    • Excessive cursing

      - As there were toxic players on InsurgentMC like every other server, some excessively cursed when they lost, such as bibsonline. These players were punished with a 24-hour mute.

    • Command spamming

      - Often, players on InsurgentMC would spam via faction creation and deletion. I took care of this by disabling the command the users end, making his creation/deletion messages never send to the rest of the server.

    • Kill Aura hackers

      - Multiple times, there were aura hackers that jumped into the warzone, went AFK, and let their account farm kills. Occasionally, these hackers would ban evade to rejoin. I handled this by banning the hackers, and CID (computer-ID) banning the evaders/VPN-users. (CID-banning bans the device that the banned account is logged in from. Put simply, it is basically IP-ban with less chance of exploitation.)
I was co-owner on a small server known as SontanMC before it shut down, both on its MCPE and MCPC versions. The experience I gained there was immensely useful, as it gave me a little bit of everything. The responsibilities I handled there include:

    • Force OP hackers

      - On a server called Void Factions where all hacking other than Force OP was allowed, some people decided to “test their luck” and proceeded to use Force OP to spawn animals at spawn, lagging any users that went to spawn out. This prevented new players from joining, current players to relog, or current players to /spawn and reach the shop, tutorial, or warps. I cleared the animals, tracked the player who spawned them using a plugin that tracks all commands, and promptly CID banned him.

    • Building/spawn creation

      - I created the shop and part of the spawn of SontanMC PC.
    • VPNs

      - On SontanMC, the user EnderKing44234 cursed multiple times in chat, a bannable offense if done more than three times even after a warning. After I banned him, he used a VPN to return to the server. I then had to ban him by his main account, and used a plugin we had that banned all linked accounts.

    • This was my first experience with hosting a public server (I have hosted a Survival Multiplayer on Minecraft PE in the past, but the IP was private and only released to Youtubers that applied or friends that would be active on the server).

About a few weeks ago I was also the accepted as a Moderator for a discord only server with 700 people (Can show proof) and after a few weeks of helping the community and adding cool features like self assigning roles and channels... I was promoted to Co-Admin as an appreciation for what I have done for the server and all my hard worked hours that have been invested into the server.

    8) If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Minecraft?:
I have a variety of hobbies. I hike with my dog every chance I get. I do cool tricks with my parrot. I work out. I also help out at a sports club called DP Football Academy. There I work as a Helper (reference is available upon request). There I help those that want to have a future with football. I have also learnt skills and techniques that help me with my everyday activities such as speaking to people, doing work at school... Other than those I usually stay at home and work on my software lol

    9) SCENARIO: You're on a busy game mode as a helper, questions are flying at you rapidly, you can just about keep up. You're getting messaged by 2 different players both asking you to get them a junior moderator for a hacker, someone then messages you on discord telling you that there is someone blasting music in their channel. What do you do?:

First I would do what can be quickly done which consists of me asking the 2 different players for the username of the hacker which I would then give to theh junior moderators. After that I would is ask the music person to give me the username of who is annoying/bothering them. and I would talk to them. If they are not serious about it then I would just mute them for an hour. But if they say sorry to the person they were annoying then I would just leave them and conclude it with a warning. After that I would carry on with the questions I was asked with and try my best to answer them all.

    10) SCENARIO: You've made an 'incorrect punishment' towards a player and there are 4 players arguing and spamming you saying that it was false. How would you handle it?:

I would first go look back and see if I made a mistake. If I did make a mistake then I would apologize about it and undo the punishment (ban/mute...) However, If I wasn't incorrect then I would explain to them how it was not an 'incorrect punishment' and help them understand it so that they don't do it on our server again.

    11) Anything else we should know?:

Yes, I just want to say a few things that haven't been asked that i would like to mention:

Honesty: I'm a very honest person. I think that honesty is a way to become more trustworthy. I am honest about everything. If I have done something wrong myself I don't try to push the blame to another person. I admit that it was my fault and me that did something wrong if that was the case. I am of course also honest if I, for example, see someone hacking that I know. I know that it is a hard thing to blame a friend but if they are hacking I would not try to hide it. I would do the thing that I would do to everyone else hacking. Tell the admin and get them either temp banned or just banned them.

Communication and moderating chat: I would say my self that I'm a really friendly guy. Simple friendliness, politeness, and respect go a long way, and I would say that I'm really good at those things. From past experiences, I have learned to communicate with people and show them respect and still keep the conversation fun for both people so it doesn't get boring after a while. I know how to handle it if people spam, threaten other people, say bad stuff, spread rumors or say even worse things. But overall I would say that communicating with people is one of my strong sides, and I would love to keep on improving it. Some people can be really toxic. But I really don't see a reason in being that. I love all the positive things, and I really want to keep spreading all the positive and good vibes.

Catching and dealing with hackers: Catching hackers is of course, a thing necessary to become accepted to become staff on UniverceMC. From past experiences I have learned how to catch them and how to deal with them. I am very patient if I'm not sure if somebody is hacking. I want to be at least 98% sure before I do something, so I don't just get them banned if they are not cheating. I can deal with people calmly and skillfully. And I myself think that it is a really important thing to know when catching hackers. I know almost all the hacks. These can range from Fly, KillAura, Noclip, Speed, Timer, Xray, ESP, Jesus, ForceField and a lot of more hacks. There are of course sometimes where I am not 100% sure, and in those situations, I would never be afraid to ask other staff for help.

Language: I speak 3 languages fluently. (English, Persian and German). I grew up in Germany and I moved to London after a few years. I also grew up watching German cartoons that then made me understand German and after taking my German GCSE exam, I found out that I got the highest grade out of 50 schools in my area! I am also fluent in Persian as I have taken my Persian GCSE and A Level exams Which I got a A* in for both. I believe that me knowing 3 languages helps me when it comes to managing multiple people that speak one of the 3 languages I am fluent in.

    Thanks for reading this,
    Have a nice day ;)

Here are some things I recommend -
    • Too new (Please view the requirements)
    • Fix grammar issues
    • Increase proffesionality
    • I don't see you online on Jupiter much.

    Good luck though!

    DENIED - Hello there!

Your application has been intensely reviewed by the management team and it has been decided to deny your application; you may reapply in 1 week.

For these reasons your application has been denied:

    - Inactivity - Last logged in two days ago although you applied 7 days ago. I'd become more known within the community such as helping players out in chat and becoming more active.

    Thank You
